Position :: Security Engineer with GIT
Location: Alpharetta, GA (3 days onsite minimum)
Security Engineer (2 openings)
Align Equity Zen's GitHub/CodeQL environment with Client’s Core standards and lead the repository migration into the Client’s GitHub tenant.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure GHAS (GitHub Advanced Security) org-level settings — CodeQL and Secrets — to match MS Core on Legal Day 1.
Track and formally report legacy technical debt reduction.
Migrate 20–30 code repositories to the Client’s GitHub tenant on Legal Day 2.
Support adoption of the SNACK exception process for repos post-migration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Hands-on experience administering GitHub/GitHub Enterprise, including GitHub Advanced Security (CodeQL, secret scanning). Experience with repository migration at scale.
Familiarity with secure SDLC practices and CI/CD pipelines..
