Looking for Applied AI / AI Platform Architect

Position: Applied AI / AI Platform Architect

Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)

Duration: 8+ months

 

Description:

 

For this role, the best fit would be a hands-on Applied AI / AI Platform Architect rather than a traditional enterprise architect.

 

We need someone who can define AI architecture and direction but also work directly with the team to build and deploy reusable acceleration patterns.

 

The ideal profile would have recent hands-on experience with:

 

· Python engineering and production AI/ML code

 

· Databricks and MLflow and even Azure AI Foundry

 

· RAG and LLM application architecture

 

· Agentic AI patterns and tool-based workflows

 

· Evaluation frameworks for LLMs/models

 

· Reusable accelerators, templates, and reference implementations

 

Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
