Job Description
We're partnering with a
large enterprise organization seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer
experienced in GCP to help design, build, and support secure, scalable cloud
networking solutions across a multi-cloud environment. This is a hands-on
engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex networking challenges
while helping modernize enterprise cloud infrastructure.
The primary focus is Google
Cloud Platform (GCP), with additional exposure to AWS and Azure. You'll play a
key role in designing cloud network architecture, implementing secure
connectivity solutions, automating infrastructure deployments, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support enterprise cloud initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and support
enterprise-scale GCP networking solutions, including VPCs, routing, load
balancing, Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect, Cloud DNS, NAT, and hybrid
connectivity.
Build secure, scalable cloud networking
architectures while maintaining high availability and performance.
Support multi-cloud networking across GCP,
AWS, and Azure environments.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code
solutions using Terraform and cloud-native deployment tools.
Partner with Cloud Engineering, Security,
Infrastructure, and Operations teams to implement networking standards and
best practices.
Troubleshoot complex cloud networking,
routing, and connectivity issues across hybrid environments.
Participate in architecture reviews,
technology evaluations, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
Help improve automation, operational
efficiency, monitoring, and overall cloud network reliability.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience designing and
supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud
Platform networking.
Experience with AWS and/or Azure networking
technologies.
Expertise with dynamic routing protocols
including BGP and OSPF.
Strong knowledge of cloud security, firewalls, VPN technologies, segmentation, IAM, and hybrid networking.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using
Terraform.
Familiarity with Git-based deployment
workflows and cloud automation.
Strong understanding of enterprise network
architecture, cloud connectivity, and high-availability design.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation,
and communication skills.
Multi-cloud architecture and migration
experience.
Cloud security or networking certifications.
Experience with Kubernetes networking and
containerized environments.
Background supporting large enterprise
environments.
Exposure to network automation using Python,
Ansible, or similar technologies.
Knowledge of SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust, or
modern data center networking.
