Location : McKinney, TX (Hybrid role)

Role Summary
Experienced Network Engineer to support a multi-site Cisco switch refresh program (3850 → 9300). Responsible for configuration, migration, and deployment with minimal business disruption. Based in McKinney with travel to deployment sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and standardize Cisco 9300 switch templates
- Migrate 3850 configurations and execute deployments/cutovers
- Support on-site and remote implementations with field teams
- Perform validation, testing, and troubleshooting
- Maintain documentation, inventory, and deployment artifacts
- Track risks/issues and provide updates to PMO
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in network engineering / infrastructure deployments
- Strong hands-on with Cisco 3850 & 9300 switches
- Expertise in Layer 2/3, VLANs, trunking, STP
- Working knowledge of firewalls (basic configuration, policy review, troubleshooting)
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS / IOS-XE CLI
- Experience with multi-site deployments and cutovers
Preferred
- CCNA / CCNP (Enterprise)
- Experience with large-scale network refresh programs
- Familiarity with ITIL/change management
Work Environment
- Based in McKinney, TX
- Mix of remote and on-site work
- Off-hours support during cutovers as needed
