Product Owner- Whippany, NJ

Key Responsibilities Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and goals Own and manage the product backlog, including prioritization and refinement Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria Collaborate closely with stakeholders, customers, and Scrum teams Act as the primary point of contact between business and development teams Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Review, Refinement) Ensure timely delivery of product features with maximum business value Track product performance and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement Make decisions on scope, priorities, and trade-offs Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with backlog management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.) Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Preferred Skills Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO) Experience with data-driven decision making Knowledge of UX/UI principles Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) Experience in Agile at scale (SAFe, LeSS)
