Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Cisco Network Engineer to support enterprise network infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Cisco networking environments while ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing network operations. This position requires the ability to work independently while supporting multiple customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless environments.
Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve connectivity issues.
Support network upgrades, hardware replacements, and infrastructure refresh initiatives.
Implement and maintain network security best practices and policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and operational requirements.
Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
Participate in incident response activities and perform root cause analysis.
Coordinate with vendors and support scheduled maintenance activities as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise network environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
Experience troubleshooting and optimizing network performance.
Solid understanding of:TCP/IP
VLANs
Routing protocols
DNS
DHCP
Wireless networking
Experience working within large enterprise infrastructure environments.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
Exposure to network security technologies, including firewalls and VPNs.
Experience supporting infrastructure modernization or migration projects.
Additional Requirements
Must have their own reliable vehicle and transportation.
Must be willing and able to travel between customer sites located within approximately a 10-mile radius throughout the workweek.
