Position Title: Oracle Supply Chain Planning (SCP) Cloud Consultant – Senior Lead / Principal Consultant
Experience Required: 14+ years of relevant experience
Location: Houston, TX, USA
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Oracle SCP Cloud Consultant with 14+ years of expertise in Oracle SCM Cloud implementations, specifically in Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud solutions. The consultant will be responsible for leading end-to-end solution design, implementation, rollout, and support activities for enterprise-wide supply chain transformation programs.
The ideal candidate should possess strong functional consulting capabilities, deep supply chain planning domain expertise, and excellent stakeholder management skills in onsite client-facing environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Oracle SCP Cloud implementation and support projects across global business units.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and map business processes to Oracle Cloud capabilities.
• Configure and implement Oracle SCP Cloud modules including:
o Demand Management Cloud
o Supply Planning Cloud
o Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
o Replenishment Planning
o Planning Central
o Global Order Promising (GOP)
o Inventory Optimization Planning
• Design scalable planning solutions aligned with business objectives and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory, Order Management, Logistics, and Finance.
• Lead CRP, SIT, UAT, cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Support integrations between Oracle SCP Cloud and external/internal applications using OIC or middleware platforms.
• Provide functional guidance, issue resolution, and production support.
• Prepare solution documentation, functional specifications, test scripts, and training materials.
• Manage onsite stakeholder communication, status reporting, and project governance activities.
• Mentor junior consultants and support pre-sales or solutioning activities when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 14+ years of experience in Oracle SCM applications with strong expertise in Oracle SCP Cloud.
• Hands-on implementation experience in Oracle Fusion SCM Cloud Planning modules.
• Strong knowledge of:
o Demand Forecasting
o Supply & Capacity Planning
o S&OP Processes
o Inventory Optimization
o Replenishment Planning
o Global Supply Chain Processes
• Experience in at least 4+ full lifecycle Oracle Cloud SCM/SCP implementations.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud architecture and integration frameworks.
• Experience working in global onsite-offshore delivery models.
• Strong client-facing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to drive workshops and independently manage stakeholder expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
• Oracle SCM Cloud Certification preferred.
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP integrations, and reporting tools.
• Exposure to manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, life sciences, or high-tech industries.
• Familiarity with Agile and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
