Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Workday Solution Architect with strong functional expertise in Workday HCM and related modules. The ideal candidate will lead architecture, solution design, implementation, integrations, security, and optimization initiatives across the Workday ecosystem. This role requires deep knowledge of Workday Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, and Financials, along with the ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Workday Architecture & Solution Design

Define scalable, secure, and high-performing Workday solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Lead architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical strategy sessions.
Workday Configuration & Implementation
-
Lead Workday implementations, upgrades, releases, and enhancement projects.

Configure and optimize Workday modules including:

Core HCM

Recruiting
-
Compensation
-
Talent Management
-
Financials
-
Ensure adherence to Workday best practices, governance, and compliance standards.

Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Workday platform.
Integrations & Data Management

Architect and oversee Workday integrations utilizing:

Workday Studio

Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)

Core Connectors
-
Workday APIs
-
Design and manage inbound and outbound data integrations between Workday and third-party applications.

Ensure data integrity, security, accuracy, and compliance across integrated systems.

Support enterprise data management and migration activities.
Technical Leadership

Serve as the Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME) for architecture and solution design.

Mentor Workday consultants, analysts, and developers.

Establish and enforce configuration standards, development best practices, and governance processes.

Provide guidance on complex technical and functional challenges.
Stakeholder Management

Partner closely with HR, Finance, IT, and business leaders to gather and validate requirements.

Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and solution demonstrations.

Communicate solution approaches, risks, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Drive alignment between business objectives and Workday capabilities.
Security & Compliance

Design and manage Workday security frameworks including:

Security Roles

Domain Security Policies

Business Process Security

Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and data privacy regulations.

Conduct security reviews and access audits.
Performance Optimization & Support

Troubleshoot complex Workday issues and provide advanced support.

Perform system health checks, audits, and performance tuning.

Lead root cause analysis and resolution of production issues.

Drive platform stability, scalability, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications

10+ years of overall IT experience.

Extensive experience leading Workday implementations and enterprise-wide deployments.

Strong functional expertise in Workday Core HCM.

Hands-on experience with Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, and Financials modules.

Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs.

Strong understanding of Workday security architecture and governance.

Proven experience designing and managing complex Workday integrations.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Experience supporting Workday upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications

Workday certifications are highly preferred.

Experience in large enterprise environments.
