Mandatory Skills:

Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of COBOL experience in an iSeries environment
  • Complete SDLC project knowledge
  • Ability to perform complex application programming on iSeries using ILE COBOL, ILE CL, and DB2
  • Ability to support system architecture and detailed solution design
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and other engineers/developers
  • Ability to lead a project/program from initiation through delivery and warranty
  • Ownership of code quality and testing
  • Experience participating in design and code reviews
  • Flexible, adaptable, and willing to multitask as priorities change
  • Please prioritize candidates who are true iSeries / IBM i COBOL developers, not primarily RPGLE or mainframe COBOL profiles. Strong candidates should have hands-on experience with COBOL in an AS400 / IBM i / iSeries environment.
