Job Title: Performance Testing Lead Architect

Location: Remote

Job Summary:
Client-facing Lead and Manage end-to-end performance testing strategy, execution, and reporting on a daily basis with constant communication with VP level and final presentations with C levels. Ensure system scalability, stability, and reliability under varying load conditions while maintaining strong client communication and adapting to evolving requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement performance testing strategy using JMeter and other tools
Plan and execute test scenarios including Baseline, Load, Stress, and Endurance testing
Perform capacity planning and provide recommendations for system scalability
Develop and maintain reusable, robust, and scalable performance test scripts
Manage test data requirements by coordinating with QA teams for accurate and realistic data generation
Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights
Generate performance reports, summarize findings, and communicate regularly with stakeholders and clients
Ensure end-to-end accountability for performance testing deliverables and timelines
Adapt quickly to changes, troubleshoot script failures, and update test scenarios as application evolves
Collaborate cross-functionally with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues
Mitigate risks arising from frequent changes in application behavior, test scripts, and data requirements
 

Required Skills & Experience

Strong expertise in JMeter (or similar tools) for scripting and execution
Solid experience in capacity planning and performance tuning
Hands-on experience with multiple performance testing types (Baseline, Stress, Endurance, Load)
Proficiency in performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting
Experience with test data management and environment coordination
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to handle ambiguity and rapidly changing requirements
