Job Description Guidewire Configuration DeveloperPreferred KnowledgeSkillsDemonstrates extensive abilities andor a proven record of success managing teams and executing the following areas1 Guidewire PolicyCenter development experience2 Knowledge of PC Insurance domain Policy Claims and Billing applications as per product requirements3 Designing developing modifying and deploying software including object oriented programming concepts with using design standards and best practices4 Planning designing developing modifying testing debugging and maintaining GOSU language application code within Guidewire PolicyCenter5 Configuring screen layouts including creation of new screens PCFs6 Configuring operational and administration related parameters such as roles and permissions user attributes regions and activity patterns7 Resolving issues identified during testing of the configuration requirementsHandling the responsibility of organizing code merges and environment management tasks8 Performing minor and major Guidewire software upgrades9 Developing JUnit Junit tests for testing business logic10 Managing projects programs and teams of various sizes11 Leading a team of developers and working with both onshore offshore teams in different time zones12 Architecting and creating solution designs and effectively presenting solution architecture with various options and estimatesAssisting in GOSU code reviews code cleanups and helping to perform sprint demosUtilizing
technical experiences in JavaGOSU to build and maintain integrations for multiplatform applications andDesigning developing and deploying complex integrations working with Guidewire software and multitier applications and systemsCertificationsGuidewire Certifications in PolicyCenter BillingCenter andor ClaimCenter Preferrably in Integration area
