Job Description Mainframe Developer 2-6 Years ExperienceWe are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL JCL DB2 VSAM and Unix Shell Scripting The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing supporting and optimizing mainframe applications building automation scripts managing backend integration workflows and ensuring reliability across production and batch systems This role requires strong technical skills problemsolving capabilities and the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teamsKey ResponsibilitiesMainframe Development SupportDevelop enhance and maintain applications using COBOL JCL VSAM and DB2Troubleshoot debug and resolve mainframe application issues across development testing and production environmentsOptimize JCL COBOL programs and DB2 queries to improve system performance and efficiencySupport daily batch processing ensure job success and resolve job abends promptlyUnix Shell Scripting Backend IntegrationDevelop and maintain UnixLinux Shell Scripts for automation batch scheduling and system integrationsEnsure seamless integration between Unixbased automation and mainframe backend systemsTroubleshoot and enhance existing scripts improving stability and execution performanceDatabase PLSQL DevelopmentDevelop and maintain PLSQL procedures functions packages and triggersPerform SQL tuning and optimize database queries for performanceIntegrate shell scripts with relational databases Oracle DB2 MySQL or
