AI Strategy & Solutions Consultant – Retirement Services
Role Overview
An experienced AI Strategy & Solutions Consultant with strong domain expertise in Retirement Services to help shape and accelerate enterprise AI adoption initiatives. This role requires a blend of strategic consulting, hands-on AI solution architecture, and stakeholder engagement across both business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Advisory
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI use cases aligned to Retirement Services business objectives.
• Assess opportunities for Generative AI, Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and decision-support capabilities.
• Define AI adoption roadmaps, solution approaches, and business value realization strategies.
• Translate business challenges into scalable AI solution architectures and implementation plans.
AI Solution Architecture & Delivery
• Architect and guide the development of AI and Agentic AI solutions leveraging Microsoft-centric ecosystems.
• Design RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) based solutions, conversational AI systems, and intelligent workflow automation.
• Support the development of participant-facing AI experiences, including chatbot and virtual assistant solutions.
• Provide guidance on AI governance, responsible AI, security, compliance, and scalability considerations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility, integration, and enterprise readiness.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Operate effectively across both business and technology organizations.
• Influence leadership and cross-functional teams on AI strategy, design decisions, and implementation priorities.
• Communicate complex AI concepts in a business-friendly manner.
• Drive alignment between strategic business outcomes and technical execution.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise architecture, or digital transformation.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing or delivering AI/GenAI solutions.
• Prior experience in Retirement Services, Wealth Management, Pension Administration, or Financial Services domains.
• Understanding of participant servicing, retirement operations, compliance, and customer experience challenges.
• Strong experience with:
o Generative AI and LLM-based applications
o RAG architectures
o Conversational AI and chatbot platforms
o Agentic AI frameworks and orchestration patterns
o Intelligent automation workflows
• Experience working within Microsoft AI ecosystems, including:
o Microsoft Azure AI / Azure OpenAI
o Microsoft Copilot ecosystem
o Azure cloud-native services
• Understanding of modern AI platforms and evolving model ecosystems.
• Strong ability to engage with executive stakeholders and business leaders.
• Experience creating AI roadmaps, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
