We are looking for In-Home Installation Technicians (Coax/Fiber) to join our crew!
1099 CONTRACTOR | Commission-based job!
ONLY WITH OWN WHITE TRUCK/VAN or MINIVAN!!! It is a MUST!
With or without experience. On-the-job training. Full-time job.
Weekly pay ranges from $1,900-$2,300.
Responsibilities:
As a Cable/Fiber Technician, your responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Perform fiber optic installation, FTTH (Fiber to the Home), COAX (Cat5-Cat6) installations, and broadband service installations in residential environments
Install and route fiber drop cables, including aerial and underground applications
Mount, splice (if applicable), and configure ONT (Optical Network Terminal), routers, and Wi-Fi equipment
Conduct fiber testing, signal verification, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
Complete service calls, trouble tickets, and repair work for fiber internet services
Follow telecom industry standards, safety protocols, and quality control guidelines
Use hand tools and specialized equipment for fiber installation and cable routing
Accurately complete and close out work orders, job documentation, and reporting systems
Provide customer service, including explaining installed services and equipment usage
Requirements:
- Your OWN VAN, MINIVAN, OR PICKUP TRUCK.
Previous experience as a cable technician (preferably, but not necessarily).
Active driver’s license.
Valid Social Security Number.
iPhone/iPad for using the app to receive orders.
Conversational English (other languages are welcome but not required).
Ability to pass a drug test.
Ability to pass a background check.
Ability to carry heavy objects (such as a 28 ft ladder).
It’s not a problem if you don’t have previous fiber experience, we’ll teach you how to work.
