Product Manager- Order & Manufacturing Systems

Job Description
Own the product roadmap, prioritization, and feature backlog for the order management and manufacturing systems.
Translate business goals and operational milestones into a sequenced delivery plan; prioritize features based on business impact.
Serve as the functional owner for systems that drive order allocation, logistics routing, and production flow.
Partner with business leaders to define measurable outcomes for each initiative (for example: reduced manual fulfillment effort, improved order accuracy, faster time-to-ship) and hold the roadmap accountable to those outcomes.
Create rough wireframes and UX flows for internal tool interfaces; collaborate with engineering on screen layouts, navigation, and user workflows prior to development.
Review engineering Technical Design Documents to ensure data models and API contracts accurately reflect business processes and future needs.
Qualifications:

Proven track record of sequencing and delivering product roadmaps against business milestones, with the ability to make tradeoff decisions on scope, timing, and depth to meet operational and financial goals.
Experience writing detailed functional specifications for transactional systems (orders, inventory, fulfillment, manufacturing) where the domain model drives product capabilities.
Domain expertise in manufacturing, fulfillment, ERP systems, or e-commerce operations.
Experience researching and evaluating off-the-shelf platforms (NetSuite, Dynamics, Sage) and making build-vs-buy recommendations.
Experience defining data integration requirements and working with system integration platforms across multiple systems (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce, 3PLs).
Basic SQL fluency to query production databases, validate data, and understand system behavior is a plus.
Ability to create rough wireframes and UX flows using tools like Figma or Balsamiq; polished visual design not required, but clear visual communication of user flows is essential.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to lead technology strategy discussions with engineering and business stakeholders.
