Java Backend Engineer

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Local Only- 3 days Hybrid in A week)

Interview Process :- 1st round virtual and final round F2F.

JD –

Design, develop, and provide production support for Java microservices using the latest Java and Spring Boot technology stacks

•            Build and maintain event-driven systems using Apache Kafka

•            Develop and integrate solutions using MongoDB

•            Deploy and operate applications on OpenShift (Red Hat), Kubernetes, and Docker

•            Implement and enforce secure coding and compliance standards

Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines

•            Troubleshoot UAT and Production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes

•            Clearly communicate issues, impact, root cause, and resolution during technical discussions and incident calls

•            Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate across teams

•            Mentor junior engineers and contribute to overall engineering excellence

Required Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices

2+ years of experience with MongoDB and Apache Kafka

2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, and preferably OpenShift Proven experience supporting UAT and Production systems

Strong ability to pinpoint issues and explain technical solutions clearly in meetings Excellent verbal communication skills in high-pressure, production environments

•            Experience with secure coding practices in enterprise or regulated systems

•            Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments

• Al-assisted development and testing experience(Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.)
