Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience to support the design, implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with HR, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable and compliant compensation solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay modules
- Configure compensation templates including eligibility rules, guidelines, proration, budgets, worksheets, and form routing
- Partner with HR, Total Rewards, and business stakeholders to gather and translate compensation requirements into system solutions
- Support annual compensation cycles, including testing, issues resolution, data validation, and production release
- Configure and manage EC-based compensation integrations (Employee Central, Job Information, Pay Components)
- Design and maintain compensation plans, bonus plans, and executive compensation structures
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and defect resolution
- Develop and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials
- Analyze system issues and provide ongoing production support and enhancements
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and data security standards
- Support integration with payroll and downstream systems where applicable
- Stay current on SAP SuccessFactors releases and recommend adoption of new features
Required Qualifications
- SAP SuccessFactors Compensation / Variable Pay Certification
- 6+ years of experience with SAP SuccessFactors, with strong expertise in Compensation and Variable Pay
- Minimum 2–3 full lifecycle SAP SuccessFactors Compensation implementations
- Strong understanding of compensation planning processes, merit planning, bonus plans, and budget modeling
- Hands-on experience with Employee Central integration for compensation
- Experience with business rules, workflows, and role-based permissions
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EC Compensation / Advance Compensation configurations
- Knowledge of SAP HCM or Payroll integrations
- Experience supporting global compensation programs
- Exposure to reporting tools such as Ad Hoc Reports, Canvas, or People Analytics
- Prior experience in large enterprise or multi-country implementations

Education – Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience is required
