Position: Java Full Stack Developer (JavaFX)

Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

 

Must Have – Core Java, Oracle React UI, Python

 

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Development: Design and implement interactive, high-performance desktop user interfaces using JavaFX.
Full Stack Engineering: Develop scalable backend services in Core Java and integrate them with modern React-based web dashboards.
Database Programming: Architect and optimize data persistence layers using Oracle and complex PL/SQL stored procedures.
Scripting & Automation: Leverage Python for data processing, automated testing, and backend utility scripts.
Performance Tuning: Optimize application performance for low-latency data rendering and high-concurrency environments.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate financial requirements into technical specifications.
Technical Requirements

Java Mastery: Expert-level Core Java (8/11+) with deep knowledge of multithreading and memory management.
JavaFX Expertise: Proven experience building rich desktop applications with JavaFX (FXML, CSS styling, and custom control development).
Modern Web Stack: Strong proficiency in React.js for building complementary web interfaces.
Database: Advanced Oracle PL/SQL skills, including performance tuning and complex schema design.
Scripting: Professional experience with Python for automation or integration tasks.
Frameworks: Experience with Spring Boot for microservices architecture.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Financial Services or Investment Banking domain.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on mission-critical financial systems.
