Business Analyst / QA (Hybrid) – Phoenix, AZ

🔹 Job Overview

We are seeking a hybrid Business Analyst / QA professional with a strong balance of both skill sets. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and development teams to define requirements, ensure quality through structured testing, and support the delivery of reliable solutions in an Agile environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

✅ Quality Assurance (50%)

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Perform functional, integration, and UAT testing
Validate solutions against business requirements and acceptance criteria
Identify, document, and track defects and performance issues
Provide guidance to developers to ensure alignment with requirements

✅ Business Analysis (30%)

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements Perform gap analysis (as-is vs to-be) Create user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria Act as a liaison between business and technical teams Manage requirement lifecycle

✅ Process Improvement & Automation (20%)

Enhance BA/QA processes and standards
Identify automation opportunities
Define test flows, data requirements, and dependencies
Support automation implementation using approved tools
🔹 Required Skills
Experience with Windows Server
Strong knowledge of SDLC (Agile – Scrum/Kanban) and STLC
Hands-on experience with Visual Studio / TFS / VSTS
Experience with .NET applications and ETL processes
Strong SQL Server expertise (2008 R2 & 2016)
Experience with SSIS and SSRS
Strong backend/database testing skills (stored procedures, triggers, etc.)
Proficiency in MS Office tools
Excellent analytical and communication skills
