Title: QA Engineer

Location: Santa Fe, NM

6 months 

onsite Hybrid Model
– Must be US Citizen or GC
– Local candidates ONLY
– Work Schedule: Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite in Santa Fe, NM
– Interview process: 2 video interviews, possible onsite


Key Responsibilities:
– Convert existing manual test cases into a structured regression suite
– Construct performance tests for database transactions and reports
– Identify and prioritize critical business workflows
– Execute testing across current and modernized environments
– Validate backend data integrity using SQL (MySQL)
– Classify defects (regression vs legacy, severity, business impact)
– Implement targeted automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium)
– Document test processes and results
– Support GO/NO-GO decision points
– Mentor and transition knowledge to internal QA staff

 

Required Skills:
– 5+ years QA experience with web applications
– Strong regression test design from incomplete requirements
– Experience testing multi-step transactional workflows
– SQL proficiency for backend validation
– Experience with browser automation tools
– Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments
– Strong written communication
– Experience with PHP applications or LAMP environments
– Familiarity with modernization/migration projects
– Technical Writing Skills
– Ability to read Code (JavaScript / PHP)
– Multi-environment comparison testing
– Familiarity with PHP Unit
– Redis/session-state awareness
– Basic AWS/cloud exposure
