Rate : $80/hr on c2c

Experienced DBT Lead Architect Onshore to drive architecture design and governance of Snap Logic to DBT migration on Google BigQuery Acts as primary client interface ensuring alignment with business goals and successful delivery

Key Responsibilities

Architecture Strategy

Define end-to-end data architecture for Snap Logic to DBT migration
Establish DBT modeling standards staging intermediate marts
Design scalable and cost optimized solutions on BigQuery
Define migration roadmap and rollout plan
Client Stakeholder Management
Act as primary onshore contact for stakeholders
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Lead workshops and design discussions
Provide status updates risks and mitigation plans
 

Delivery Oversight

Manage offshore teams DBT Engineering Testing BI
Review and approve design and deliverables
Ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards
 

Migration Modernization

Lead ETL assessment and DBT transformation
Drive automation using Vega framework
Ensure data validation and reconciliation
Implement CICD and DevOps practices
 

Governance Best Practices

Define data quality and governance standards
Establish naming conventions and coding standards
Ensure compliance with security policies
 

Required Skills

12 years in Data Engineering Architecture
Strong DBT Core Cloud expertise
Advanced SQL and data modeling
Experience in largescale migration programs
Strong BigQuery expertise
Onshore offshore delivery experience
Excellent communication and leadership skills
 

Good to Have

SnapLogic experience
Vega or similar automation tools
Data governance tools
BI tools Tableau Looker Power BI
Python scripting
