Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing test cases, executing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scenarios
- Execute manual test cases and analyze results
- Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to resolve issues
- Validate fixes and perform re-testing
- Participate in test planning, test estimation, and test execution activities
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies
- Experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Good understanding of test case design techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
