Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong banking domain knowledge to work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for requirement elicitation, documentation, and management across multiple teams, supporting both waterfall and agile projects. Experience with core banking systems, web-based applications, and vendor integrations is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
Study business functions and processes to define business objectives and identify gaps and improvements
Develop detailed requirement specifications (BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases) and conduct walkthroughs and peer reviews
Work with architects and technical teams to understand current and proposed system architectures and enhancements
Manage requirements across multiple teams, ensuring traceability and alignment with business goals
Support projects delivered through Waterfall and Agile methodologies, understanding related artifacts (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, etc.)
Assist with testing, defect triage, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during later phases of the project
Perform data analysis using spreadsheets and SQL/MySQL to support business decisions
Coordinate integration efforts for vendor-based and web-based systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong banking domain experience (mandatory)
68 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Proven experience in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management
Solid understanding of core banking services (preferred)
Experience working with web-based systems and vendor product integrations
Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using Excel / spreadsheets
Working knowledge of SQL / MySQL for data analysis
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
