Job: Senior Consultant – Platform Administrator / Computer Systems Analyst
Locations: Lansing, MI
Duration: Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Platform Administrator / Computer Systems Analyst to manage, optimize, and support enterprise platforms that drive critical business operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in cloud environments, system administration, automation, and Guidewire Insurance Suite, along with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, middleware, or operating systems
- Proficiency in scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python (Java/Gosu is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite (v9.0+), especially PolicyCenter and BillingCenter
- Experience with databases: Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, SQS, and APIs (REST/SOAP)
Domain Requirement
- Insurance domain experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter is mandatory
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP
