Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Java Lead Developer to lead development efforts for enterprise-scale applications. This is an onsite position in Reston, VA . requiring candidates to attend in-person interviews (F2F). The ideal candidate will have 14+ years of experience in Java technologies, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of Java developers through the full software development lifecycle.
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions with strong attention to performance and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, QA, and DevOps.
Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and enforce coding best practices.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions with high quality and timely delivery.
Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting complex issues and performance tuning.
Ensure adherence to Agile practices, development standards, and project timelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

14+ years of strong experience in Java/J2EE application development.
Expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
Solid experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
Experience in relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a strong plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working with telecom/media industry.
Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular) is a bonus.
