Job Description:
We are actively seeking a highly experienced and technically sound Senior Java Developer with a strong background in Microservices architecture, Spring, and Spring Boot. This is a critical onsite role requiring a candidate who can attend face-to-face interviews and work closely with cross-functional teams in Reston, VA or Philadelphia, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Build RESTful APIs to integrate with frontend applications and third-party systems.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
Engage in code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed.
Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems and production environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of professional Java development experience is mandatory.
Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Solid understanding and experience in building Microservices architecture.
Experience with RESTful API design and integration.
Proficient with tools and frameworks such as Maven/Gradle, Git, JIRA, etc.
Experience working with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a bonus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:
Prior experience working with the telecom/media industry.
Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging systems.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
