JOB DESCRIPTION:
“Responsibilities
Test Planning and Design
Analyze requirements user stories and design specifications to understand the functional aspects of the software
Develop comprehensive test plans test strategies and test scenarios covering various functional areas
Create detailed well-structured and maintainable test cases
Identify and prioritize test cases based on risk and criticality
Test Execution
Execute test cases manually Andor using automation tools if applicable
Document test execution results accurately and efficiently Identify log and track defects in a bug tracking system eg Jira Bugzilla Retest resolved defects to ensure they are fixed correctly Defect Management Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand and clarify defects Participate in defect triage meetings to prioritize and resolve issues Follow up on defect resolution and ensure timely closure Reporting and Communication
Provide regular updates on testing progress test results and defect status to stakeholders
Prepare clear and concise test summary reports
Communicate effectively with cross functional teams including developers product managers and designers
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies
Stay UpToDate with industry best practices and emerging1 QA trends

Participate in reviews of requirements design and code to provide early feedback on testability
Collaboration
Work closely with developers during the development lifecycle to identify and resolve issues early
