Onsite C2C Position: Lead QE with Playwright at Charlotte, NC

Lead QE with Strong Playwright experience 

Location: Charlotte, NC – (Onsite from day 1)
Duration: 6-12 months

Automation & Framework Development
Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript).
Develop scalable, reusable test scripts for web and API testing.
Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar).
AI Enhanced Quality Engineering

Use AI-based tools (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Functionize, AutoGPT based test generation, Copilot/Gemini testing assistance) to accelerate test creation and maintenance.
Explore AI capabilities for:
Test case generation
Log analysis
Defect clustering
Intelligent test selection/impact analysis
Contribute to adopting AI frameworks for predictive quality and faster validation cycles.

Quality Assurance
Define test scenarios, edge cases, and regression coverage.
Conduct functional, regression, cross‑browser, and performance validations.
Participate in code reviews and establish automation best practices.
Track defects, analyze root causes, and collaborate with developers for resolution.
Technical Skills:

10+ years of experience in QA automation.
Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with REST API testing (Postman, Playwright API, etc.).
Experience with AI-assisted testing tools or LLM-based automation assistance.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools—Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.
Understanding of version control (Git/GitLab/GitHub).
Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to test management tools (JIRA, Xray, Zephyr).
Experience with performance testing (Lighthouse, k6, JMeter) is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS).
Certification in QA automation or AI testing tools (optional but beneficial).
