Key Responsibilities:
• Own the overall solution architecture across Payroll, HCM, Mobile, and shared platform services
• Act as the primary architectural point of contact for executive stakeholders
• Ability to conduct/participate in client technical solution sessions/workshops to deep dive into a problem area, ask the questions to get to the root cause and provide solutions
• Define and communicate target state architecture, architectural principles, and guardrails
• Ensure refactoring is positioned as one of multiple coordinated tracks, not a standalone effort
• Own and Drive the Architecture for one of the 2 modules.
• Partner with business leaders to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions
• Provide architectural governance across design decisions, trade offs, and risk management
• Ensure consistency across security, performance, scalability, availability, and compliance
• Review and approve high level designs, integration patterns, and major technology decisions
• Support bi weekly release planning with clear business impact visibility
Required Experience (Must Have):
• 15+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture
• Proven experience leading large-scale modernization or refactoring programs
• Strong background in distributed systems, cloud architecture, and integration patterns
• Experience coordinating multiple architecture tracks under a single program plan
• Ability to communicate complex architecture concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Core Technologies (Must Have):
• .NET / .NET Core ecosystems
• Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Relational databases (Oracle)
• NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
• Frontend technologies: React (web), basic awareness of mobile frameworks
• Caching technologies (Redis preferred)
• REST APIs, async/event driven architectures
• Security & identity patterns (OAuth, JWT, centralized IAM)
Good to Have:
• Experience with Payroll and/or HCM, or regulated enterprise domains
• Experience working with executive leadership and client facing architecture roles
• Familiarity with Agile at scale, release governance, and dependency management
