Here is the skills and experience description.
- Experience with Matlab Model Based Development – Capable of designing moderately complex algorithms using model based design tools (I.e. Matlab/Simulink).
- We want candidates who can create Matlab Simulink and Stateflow models using a written problem description. If the candidate’s experience is limited to modifying or fixing existing
Models the candidate will not be adequate for our needs.
- Understands the underlying principles, techniques, and procedures used in Matlab and Simulink
- Creates appropriate design documentation for review.
- Experience with performance simulation – Use of mathematic models and computer aided engineering/scientific design tools such as Matlab/Simulink, Math CAD etc to simulate steady state, dynamic and transient operation of embedded controls
- Experience performing product level testing
- Candidate will create Matlab Simulink and Stateflow models to produce embedded software for generator set and automatic transfer switch controllers
- We would like to find a candidate who understands principles of electrical systems in power generation industry, such as distributed/embedded power generation, conventional centralized power generation, islanded/standalone power system etc
- It would help us if we can find an electrical engineering graduate
