Job Description
• Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• SAP S/4 HANA FICO Functional Consultant with minimum 8+ years of experience of implementing SAP S4, preferably for a USA based manufacturing company
• Proficiency in SAP’s standard implementation framework and hands-on experience in designing and implementation of complex and heterogeneous landscape (SAP and non-SAP)
• Experience in conducting workshops with business users for process analysis, design and configuration needs pertaining to Finance and Controlling processes
• New GL and New Asset Accounting
• General Ledger Accounting with deep understanding of best practices designing Chart of Accounts, Org structure, Financial Statements.
• Deep understanding and experience optimizing Financial Closing process. Financial Reporting requirements.  
• Integration to Accounts Payables, Accounts receivables, SD, MM, PP, PS and other Modules.
• FSCM – at least one of the Modules – Collections Management, Dispute Management, Credit Management
• Customer Vendor Integration (CVI)
• Strong understanding of Tax Accounting for US and other countries
• Good understanding of Revenue Recognition (IFRS 15) requirements.
• Bank Account Management and Cash Management including EDI / SWIFT interfaces
• New GL, Profit Center Accounting (PCA) and Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Deep understanding of Closing process including Allocations and Settlements
• Management Reporting
• Profitability Analysis (COPA – Account Based and Costing Based)
• PS – Project Systems
• Product Costing, Material Ledger and Actual Costing
• Setting up Internal Orders, Production Orders and integration with Project Systems
• Deep understanding of Standard and Moving Average costs, costing sheets, Activity Based Costing including production order variances (price / qty)
• Hands-on experience in data cleansing and conversion related activities
• Cut-Over activities identification and execution along with Go-live and Post Go-Live Support Experience of Integration with Planning system of SAP/non-SAP

Roles & Responsibilities
• Requirements Analysis: Gathering site-specific “AS-IS” processes and mapping them to “To-Be” standard SAP workflows
• Functional Testing: Conducting unit/integration testing and coordinating user acceptance testing with site business process owners to validate configurations
• User Training: Delivering hands-on training sessions for site accountants and controll ers on new S/4HANA Fiori apps for real-time financial reporting
• Data Migration Support: Assisting with the final validation of cleansed site data before it is loaded into live system
• US Tax Engine Integration: Configuring and maintaining the interface with third-party tax engines to automate sales and use tax for hundreds of local US jurisdictions
• Costing of Heavy Materials: Setting up product costing (CO-PC) and material ledger to track complex manufacturing costs of building materials, including raw material fluctuations and overhead allocations
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA): Designing reporting structures to analyze profitability by product line, customer segment, or specific US sales region
• Asset Management: Configuring Asset Accounting (FI-AA) for large-scale plant machinery, heavy vehicle fleets, and real estate, ensuring correct depreciation methods under US GAAP
• Financial Close Management: Leading the first on-site monthly and quarterly financial close cycles to troubleshoot automated postings from MM and SD
