Job Description:
We are seeking a Disaster Recovery (DR) Specialist to support the development, review, and testing of disaster recovery plans across application teams. The role involves ensuring DR documentation and testing activities meet organizational standards, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting DR exercises to strengthen business resilience.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Review and validate Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with organizational standards. Conduct QA reviews of DR test results and supporting evidence. Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or missing information in DR plans and testing artifacts. Work closely with application teams to drive completion of DR plans, testing activities, and remediation tasks.
Support Disaster Recovery Exercises (DREs), tabletop tests (TTX), and other resilience activities.
Track and report DR activities using DR management tools such as Veoci.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of DR requirements and maintain accurate records.
Provide guidance and training to application teams on DR processes, best practices, and compliance requirements.
