Must Have's: Facets benefit configuration experience, SQL. Note from HM after client rejected 2 profiles: This position needs extensive hands-on experience with building products from scratch.
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Consultant with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Facets Benefit Configuration, ANSI SQL, Facets Workflow. This remote role requires a strong benefit configuration background building products and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. The position operates during the day shift and does not require travel.
Required Skills :
• Strong Facets configuration background in addition to other core processing systems (Facets Benefit Configuration is a must)
• Medical Plan and Application Support SME is preferred with both front and back end building experience
• Additional optional expertise in claims, group, billing, provider demographics, pricing, capitation would great
• Understanding of multiple system application groups
• Experience with querying Facets data via SQL or other backend tool required
• Understand data model and table dependencies
• Understand and have been involved in system upgrades, new releases, change packages
• Strong technical and analytical experience
• Good understanding of business operational practices
• Experience in project lifecycle and deliverable dependencies
• Experienced with root cause analysis of issues
• Strong process and technical improvement skills

• Strong communication skills; ability to meet with people at all levels
• Proactive; self-starter
• Independent
• Willing to escalate or involve management to resolve obstacles
• Accountable to delivery dates (extra effort/overtime if necessary)

Responsibilities :
• Analyze benefit grid for ASO renewal and new groups to understand non-standard and custom benefits
• Work with sales intake team for any clarifications on benefits or corrections to benefit grids
• Complete design/ paper build for products
• Unit test benefit build
• Coordinate with testing team for defects
• Validate configuration build and promote to production
• Support post prod incidents or change requests for groups
