Cassandra subject‑matter expert to own the reliability, performance, security, and operations of production Cassandra clusters supporting critical platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

Administer and support Apache Cassandra (2.x/3.x / 4.x) clusters in production

Handle upgrades, patching, scaling, node replacement, and incident recovery
-
Tune performance (JVM, compaction, GC, data modeling issues)

Ensure security and compliance

Manage configuration
Required Skills:

5–8+ years DB / production ops experience
Nice to Have:

SRE or platform operations background

Cassandra upgrade experience

DataStax drivers, async workloads, cloud exposure
