JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIRED SKILLS:
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
– Design and develop scalable data engineering solutions using Databricks
– Build and optimize distributed data processing pipelines using Spark and PySpark
– Develop and manage complex SQL-based data transformations
– Implement and manage DBT (Core or Cloud) for data modeling and transformation
– Perform data asset modeling, lifecycle management, and optimization
– Conduct advanced performance tuning, debugging, and cluster optimization
– Implement observability frameworks including logging, metrics, and alerting
– Work with Delta Lake architecture, governance, and lakehouse patterns
– Collaborate on cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred)
– Manage source control and CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows
