Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SAS Developer with strong expertise in Python and SQL to support enterprise data processing, analytics, and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will work on large-scale datasets, maintain legacy SAS workloads, and contribute to modernization efforts by transitioning SAS-based processes to Python and cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs, macros, and batch jobs

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation

Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and integration

Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation across multiple data sources

Support modernization and migration of SAS workloads to Python/cloud platforms

Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders

Troubleshoot production issues and support data pipelines and batch jobs

Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards
Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with:

Base SAS
-
SAS Macros
-
SAS SQL
-

Strong SQL development and performance tuning experience

Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation

Experience working with large enterprise datasets

Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines

Experience with Git or version control systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAS to Python migration / modernization projects

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Experience in Healthcare / Pharma domain
