Senior Data Analyst to lead major components of a strategic migration from Alteryx to Tableau and Power BI. This individual will play a critical role in redesigning reporting architecture, modernizing workflows, and ensuring efficient data flow across systems.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Alteryx, strong command of Tableau and Power BI, and the ability to think strategically and creatively when transitioning complex workflows into scalable reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead large workstreams within the Alteryx to Tableau/Power BI migration initiative
• Assess and deconstruct complex Alteryx workflows to redesign and optimize them for Tableau and Power BI environments
• Architect scalable reporting solutions and visualization frameworks
• Oversee dashboard development in Tableau and Power BI, ensuring alignment with business requirements
• Ensure proper data flow, transformation logic, and reporting governance during transition
• Identify opportunities to streamline data preparation and reduce manual processes
• Mentor and guide Data Analysts throughout the migration effort
• Partner with stakeholders to define reporting standards, governance, and future-state architecture
• Drive innovative solutions and think beyond direct tool replication to improve reporting capabilities
Required Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting
• Advanced expertise in Alteryx (workflow design, optimization, automation, troubleshooting)
• Strong proficiency in Tableau and Power BI
• Deep understanding of reporting frameworks, KPI development, and data visualization best practices
• Experience leading or heavily contributing to BI/reporting migration initiatives
• Strong understanding of how data and information flow across systems and business functions
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and design scalable reporting solutions
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience defining BI governance frameworks
• Advanced SQL skills
• Experience mentoring or leading analytics teams
• Familiarity with enterprise data architecture concepts
