Location – Plano, TX (Onsite)

Job Type – C2C/W2

 

Max. Rate:- $50/hr. on C2C

 

Job Description:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience.
• Facilitation: Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and time-boxed.
• Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve blockers that hinder team progress, acting as a liaison between the team and external stakeholders.
• Coaching: Guide the team and organization on using Agile/Scrum practices to deliver high-value software at a sustainable pace.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain Jira dashboards, track Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts), and report on progress to management.
• Collaboration: Work with Product Owners to manage product roadmaps, prioritize user stories, and ensure backlog readiness.
• Scaled Agile Support: In larger organizations, participate in PI Planning and manage cross-team dependencies.
• Required Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Education: BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) highly preferred.
• Tools: Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and/or Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
• Domain experience in Insurance, Banking, or Government Technology.
• Background in IT infrastructure or cloud technologies.
