Role: IBM iSeries RPG Developer
Location: Downtown Houston, TX- Hybrid work schedule of 3 days a week on-site downtown Houston.
Duration: 12+ Months – Multi Year Contract
Job Description:
ā¢ Develop and maintain various database applications on the IBM iseries platform, utilizing RPG and embedded SQL and working with large transactional tables.
ā¢ Expert level experience with RPG and embedded SQL implementing business logic on the IBM iseries platform. Please note that this is a MUST.
ā¢ Able to read RPGIV, RPGLE, RPGFree programs, embedded SQL
ā¢ Experience with financial close processes like Revenue, JIB etc.
ā¢ IBM tools such as Aldon, RDI, ACS etc
ā¢ Application development experience interacting with front end using REST APIs, Json
ā¢ exposure to python, microservices, VS code IDE development
ā¢ git source control and integration
