JOB TITLE: SNOWFLAKE DB SUPPORT
LOCATION: LAKE MARY, FLORIDA
DURATION: LONG TERM CONTRACT
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience
- Strong Snowflake architecture and administration knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of Snowflake modeling, including roles, databases, and schemas
- Proficiency in SQL language and cloud-based technologies.
- Expertise in performance tuning and creating resource monitors
- Skilled in evaluating SQL performance, tuning SQL queries, and optimizing databases
- Comprehensive understanding of Snowflake warehousing, architecture, processing, and administration
- Strong background in Oracle Database Administration, including performance tuning
- Expertise in Oracle Goldengate Replication
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide L1 and L2 support for Snowflake and associated services, including Oracle database support and Goldengate Replication.
- Monitor Snowflake production environment and resolve incidents (L2/L3)
- Troubleshoot task, query, Snowpipe, and ingestion failures
- Manage users, roles, warehouses, and access privileges
- Analyze query performance and warehouse credit usage
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive actions
- Support production deployments, RFCs, and CTASKs
- Coordinate with application and ETL teams
- Prepare incident reports and documentation
