Job Description:
The Business Systems Analyst will act as a key bridge between business, IT, and vendors to define and deliver Patient Services capabilities, with deep expertise in patient onboarding, benefits investigation, adherence, and patient support programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for Patient Services programs, including:
- Patient onboarding and enrolment workflows
- Benefits investigation and prior authorization processes
- Copay and affordability programs
- Patient adherence and persistence initiatives
- Ongoing patient support services
- Translate patient strategy into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Map end-to-end patient journeys across HCP, patient, HUB, and internal teams.
- Work closely with Scrum Master and Technical Lead to support Agile delivery.
- Collaborate with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Privacy teams to ensure compliance (GDPR/HIPAA, consent, AE reporting).
- Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triage for patient services solutions.
- Assist in defining KPIs and success metrics (enrolment conversion, adherence, time-to-therapy).
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience as a BSA / Business Analyst in pharma commercial or patient services.
Education: At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field is required.
