Experience:

  • 10+ years overall Project Management experience
  • 4–5+ years managing Salesforce implementations
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on CPQ delivery experience

 

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong Salesforce Commerce and CPQ delivery experience to lead Agile execution across cross-functional engineering teams. This is a hands-on delivery role, combining project management, Scrum leadership, and limited program coordination. Salesforce Commerce and CPQ experience are mandatory and core to this role.

 

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce & CPQ Delivery (Must-Have)

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce Commerce (B2B or B2C) initiatives
  • Manage projects involving CPQ platforms such as Salesforce CPQ / Revenue Cloud / Apttus / Conga
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams on solution planning, dependencies, and releases
  • Ensure backlog readiness and technical design alignment for Salesforce programs

 

Project Management & Planning

  • Own project kick-off, planning, and execution
  • Create and manage project timelines, milestones, and effort estimates in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Track scope, schedule, dependencies, and delivery risks
  • Identify project risks early and drive risk mitigation plans

 

Agile / Scrum Execution

  • Act as day-to-day Scrum Master
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies:
    • Sprint grooming
    • Sprint planning
    • Sprint execution & monitoring
    • Sprint reviews and retrospectives
  • Manage N+1 / N+2 sprint planning to ensure backlog and design readiness
  • Remove impediments and ensure smooth sprint execution

 

Program Coordination (Approx. 10%)

  • Coordinate with adjacent teams and workstreams as part of a larger program
  • Identify and manage program-level risks and dependencies
  • Provide weekly and monthly status reports across multiple teams
  • Communicate progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders

 

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager / Technical Project Manager
  • 4–5+ years leading Salesforce delivery projects
  • Minimum 2 years of direct CPQ implementation experience
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience working closely with engineering and technical teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

 

Certifications

  • PMP certification
  • SAFe Agilist certification
  • Scrum Master certification

 

Important Notes

  • This is not a pure Program Manager role
  • This is not a Salesforce CRM-only role
  • Salesforce Commerce + CPQ experience is mandatory
  • Candidates must be local to San Francisco Bay Area due to hybrid work requirements
