Role: Edge Networking Software Engineer
Location: Mount Laurel, NJ (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months with possible extension
Edge Networking Software Engineer
ā¢ Edge Networking Engineer working on next generation, high performance SD WAN and edge networking platforms
ā¢ Build C/C++ components for production grade SD WAN and edge platforms
ā¢ Develop DPDK based packet processing pipelines for ultra-low latency traffic handling
ā¢ Implement edge containerization and deploy services using Kubernetes
ā¢ Deliver observability, health management, and self-healing capabilities
ā¢ Optimize CPU, memory, and networking paths for high throughput, low latency performance
ā¢ Work with Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, DPI, UBB QoE, and traffic classification components
ā¢ Design and build edge ready services that operate reliably at massive scale
ā¢ Strong C/C++ development experience on Linux
ā¢ Experience with DPDK packet processing
ā¢ Knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking
ā¢ Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
ā¢ Background in CPU optimization, multi core tuning, NUMA, and zero copy techniques
ā¢ Understanding of observability concepts including metrics, logs, and tracing
ā¢ Experience with SD WAN or Versa like solutions (nice to have)
ā¢ Experience with DPI, QoE analytics, or high scale traffic platforms (nice to have)
ā¢ Experience with Linux performance profiling and system level debugging (nice to have)
