Job Title: Oracle EBS Payroll – Technical Consultant

Job Summary
We are looking for an Oracle EBS Payroll–Technical Consultant to handle technical development and support for Oracle E‑Business Suite Payroll and HR modules. The person will work with HR/Payroll functional consultants and HCM teams to build and maintain payroll‑related interfaces, reports, and data flows in Oracle EBS.
Key Responsibilities
Understand payroll and HR requirements and convert them into technical designs and solutions.
Develop and maintain PL/SQL programs, SQL scripts, and stored procedures for payroll processing and reporting.
Build and support interfaces and data extracts between Oracle EBS Payroll, Core HR, and Oracle HCM Cloud (via OIC, flat files, or APIs).
Customize reports (BI Publisher, Discoverer), forms, and workflows related to payroll and HR.
Fix technical issues in payroll runs, data loads, interfaces, and reports to ensure accurate payroll outputs.
Perform unit testing and integration testing, support UAT, and coordinate with functional teams.
Document technical designs, data models, interfaces, and support processes.
Support upgrades, patches, and maintenance of Oracle EBS R12.2.x Payroll and HR modules.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
4–7+ years of experience in Oracle EBS technical development, with exposure to HR/Payroll modules (Core HR, Payroll, SSHR, OTL).
Good understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and payroll data structures.
Technical Skills
Core: PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, Discoverer.
EBS Tech: Forms, Workflow, OAF, Oracle EBS R12.2.x.
Payroll & HR: Oracle EBS Payroll, Core HR, SSHR, OTL, payroll tables and flows.
Integrations: Interfaces, flat files, APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Tools: SQL Developer / Toad, Unix/Linux, basic Oracle Apps DBA concepts.
