Job Role and Responsibilities:
As a Node.js/TypeScript Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with Express.js or other Node.js frameworks.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
