This role leads a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives from discovery through delivery, leveraging both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The ideal candidate can quickly onboard into new business domains, align diverse stakeholders, and consistently deliver measurable outcomes while helping teams scale effectively. Success in this role requires strong executive presence, the ability to influence across functions, and clear potential for future leadership growth.
Responsibilities:
• Lead multiple concurrent projects, selecting and tailoring delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) based on project needs; develop and maintain project charters, delivery plans, and roadmaps.
• Build and maintain project dashboards and reporting (velocity, milestones, budget, RAID) to enable transparency and data-driven decision-making.
• Demonstrate rapid ramp-up capability by quickly understanding business context, gathering stakeholder requirements, and delivering value within the first 30–60 days.
• Drive cross-functional alignment and influence without formal authority; resolve conflicts, manage dependencies, and maintain consistent stakeholder communication.
• Mentor and develop team members while contributing to the continuous improvement of project delivery practices and standards.
• Oversee project close-out activities, including documentation, lessons learned, and operational handoff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned. Travel up to 10%.
Skills and Abilities:
• Strong project management expertise across planning, scheduling, resource management, budgeting, risk management, and change control.
• Proven experience working in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall environments, with the ability to adapt delivery approaches as needed.
• Executive presence with experience presenting to senior leadership and driving informed decision-making.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and active listening skills; adept at requirements gathering, conflict resolution, and consensus building.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong capabilities in status reporting, dependency tracking, accountability, and dashboard creation.
• Technically savvy, with experience using project management tools, advanced Excel, and BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
