Job Title: Salesforce Architect with FSL

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities
Lead Salesforce solution architecture and design across the enterprise with a strong emphasis on Field Service Lightning.
Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, security, and governance for Salesforce.
Provide technical leadership throughout the full project lifecycle — from requirement gathering to post-deployment support.
Translate business requirements into scalable and performant FSL solutions.
Architect and configure complex FSL features such as Work Types, Service Territories, Scheduling Policies, Resource Skills, Optimized Scheduling, Mobile configurations, etc.
Integrate Salesforce (Sales, Service, & FSL) with other systems (ERP, Inventory, IVR, Telephony, etc.) using APIs, middleware, ETL tools, etc.
Design extensible data model, sharing/security model, and automation strategy (Flows, Apex, etc.).
Establish and maintain standards and best practices for Salesforce solution development and documentation.
Drive DevOps strategy including CI/CD and sandbox management.
Perform regular architecture reviews and provide guidance to development teams.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Business, and Operations teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
Conduct technical workshops and knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams.
Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of Salesforce solutions.
Drive and support UAT, QA, production releases, and deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred; alternatively Salesforce Certified Application Architect System Architect.
Salesforce FSL Consultant Certification is highly desirable.
8+ years of Salesforce experience with 3+ years in FSL architecture and implementation.
Proven track record of architecting enterprise-level Salesforce and FSL solutions.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce core clouds: Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Platform.
Experience building integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, etc.).
Expertise in custom development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce automation.
Experience with complex data modeling, sharing/security, and large data volumes (LDV) solutions.
