SAP PL2PR Consultant for an onsite engagement in Normal, IL. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP end-to-end Plan-to-Produce / Procure-to-Pay / Production & Procurement business processes with hands-on configuration, integration knowledge, and stakeholder management experience.
The SAP PL2PR Consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing SAP solutions, supporting implementation/enhancements, and ensuring smooth integration across SAP modules relevant to production planning and procurement processes. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional SAP teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering, analysis, and solution design for SAP PL2PR processes.
- Configure and support SAP modules related to production planning and procurement.
- Perform functional configuration, documentation, testing support, and deployment activities.
- Work on integration points across SAP modules (MM, PP, SD, FI/CO, WM/EWM, etc.).
- Support production issues, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments (WRICEF).
- Coordinate with ABAP/technical team for enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
- Participate in SIT/UAT testing, defect triage, and go-live support.
- Ensure process alignment with standard SAP best practices.
- Create process flows, configuration documents, and user training materials.
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- 12+ years of SAP functional experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP PL2PR processes.
- Strong experience in SAP modules such as:
- SAP PP
- SAP MM
- Integration exposure with SD / FI / CO (plus)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and procurement business processes.
- Experience in support/implementation projects (end-to-end lifecycle).
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Must be comfortable working onsite in Normal, IL.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of QM / PM / EWM integrations.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder management capabilities.
