The activities shall align with DFPS’s compliance with federal and state regulations and its goal of providing uninterrupted services to the children and families it serves. Data management services are needed in support of data cleansing efforts for the new system. The scope of these services shall include, but not be limited to the following:
Assist DFPS in managing the overall effort.
Identify risks/issues and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and manage staffing and resources assigned to the project.
These efforts are expected to result in a robust, secure, and efficient foundation that will support transition to a new case management system resulting in efficiencies, improved decision-making, and accessible data within the DFPS child welfare and adult protection programs. The new case management system will also be compliant with CCWIS data quality and confidentiality requirements set forth by federal, state, and tribal laws, thereby supporting child welfare policies, goals, and practices.
As a Project Manager, the job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project Managers might work by themselves or oversee a team to get the job done, coordinating cross functional teams and managing stakeholder communications. The Project Manager will facilitate collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure readiness for the new case management system.

· Experience with enterprise level projects and initiatives leveraging best practices according to the industry standards in project or program management
· Experience working independently with minimal supervision; ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and directional changes under short and firm deadlines
· Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills in data related projects.
· Excellent written and oral communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience.
· Experience with child welfare case management systems.
