Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS & Security Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Security, Authorizations, and SAP BASIS on HANA, supporting SAP systems hosted on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on ensuring security compliance, system stability, and smooth migration and post-go-live operations in a regulated BFSI environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
SAP Security & Authorization
- Design and implement SAP security roles and authorizations for Azure-hosted SAP systems
- Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and BFSI regulatory requirements
- Perform user provisioning, role testing, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) checks
- Configure secure communications (SSL/TLS) and encryption for SAP workloads
- Monitor and audit system access logs and implement remediation for violations
- Collaborate with BASIS and Azure teams on identity and access management
- Support SAP GRC integration and risk analysis for migrated systems
- Provide security sign-off for cutover and post-go-live activities
SAP BASIS
- Execute SAP system administration activities including:
- Client copies
- Transports
- System monitoring
- Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot application server issues
- Support SAP migration activities, including:
- Export–Import
- SUM / DMO execution
- Post-migration validation
- Configure RFCs, logical systems, and integration points post-migration
- Maintain system health checks and automate routine BASIS tasks
- Collaborate with Azure infrastructure teams for connectivity and resource provisioning
- Implement and monitor backup and recovery procedures
- Monitor job scheduling and background processes
- Document technical procedures and provide operational handover
